Christopher was born April 1, 1995 in Ft Stewart, Georgia. He was the son of Connie Adlong and Charlie Newton. He attended Pueblo West High School and Pueblo Community College. He was a manager at McDonald’s here in Pueblo Colorado. His co-workers told me that I had an amazing son. They loved his smile and his spunk and the way he never had a negative thing to say about anyone.
Christopher was a devout Christian and loved his God and Jesus.
He was a movie fanatic! He always had the best movies. If you wanted to watch it, he had it! When he was younger and still at home every once in a while he and I would put blankets all over the living room windows to block out the daylight and get all kinds of junk food and we both had to have crab and shrimp! We would watch movies all weekend long! I always let him pick the movies. He also loved music. He listened to old country, new country, 80’s and 90’s music, rap, Christian, classical and even music from other countries where he couldn’t even understand the language! He loved it all the same. He was an animal lover as well. There wasn’t a dog or cat, hamster or fish, that he couldn’t win over. Kids and animals were drawn to him. He had a heart of gold.
His Mother, Connie Adlong, was his #1 confidant, supporter and friend. Christopher loved and adored his momma. He loved and looked up to his Step-dad, Michael Adlong for treating him with respect, loving him and welcoming him into his home and guiding him to make better decisions in life.
Christopher looked up to his father Charlie Newton and was always looking for new ways to make his father proud of him.
He also loved his step mom Cari Zundel who made him feel welcome in her home by making holidays special for him.
There are no words to explain the love he had for his sister. She was his #1! No matter where he was or what he was doing, he would drop everything to be there for his big sister! To help her do everything from moving to helping her raise her kiddos. He adored his niece and nephew. Christopher wore many hats for Joshua and Kyleighann. He was their Uncle Bubba, who would spoil them rotten and be goofy with them. He was their father figure. And he was their partner in crime! He was their Uncle Bubba! And those 2 kiddos loved him with all of their hearts and souls.
Christopher loved his Cousin Allie so much. They dared each other to be silly and enjoy life to the fullest. They were each other’s secret keepers.
He is survived by his Mother, Connie Adlong, Step-father Michael Adlong. Father Charlie Newton and Cari Zundel. Sister, Courtney Newton, nephew Joshua Trujillo, niece Kyleighann Trujillo. Cousin Alitash Crockett Uncle Daymond Williams, Aunt Amy Williams. Cousins Taylor and Katelyn Williams and Grandmother Joan Trujillo and Grandmother Nona Dale Fulton
He is proceeded in death by his Grandmother and Grandfather Verna and Daymond Williams. Grandfather and Grandmother Jack and Jill Newton. Aunt Debbie Crockett and cousin Makayla Jane Crockett
