Carol Jean (Roman) Albo, 75 went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2024. Survived by her daughters, Cassie (Brian) Stephens and Elizabeth Albo. Grandchildren – Tyler Stephens (Kasi Kihn), Lexie Stephens, Parker Stephens, Charlotte Gallagher, and David Gallagher. Great Grandchildren – Austin Sheppard, Kensli Stephens, and Brian Davis Stephens. Sister – Antonette (Keith) Lane, Nephew – Dean Lane (Joan Kelley), Niece – Kimberly (Jason) Saphara, and Great Nephew – Drew Lane.
Preceded in death by her parents Mary and Andrew Roman, brother Dennis Roman and Niece Mary Ann Lane.
Carol was born to Mary and Andrew Roman on September 27, 1948, in Pueblo Colorado and became a life-long resident where she raised her girls. She graduated from Pueblo Catholic High School in 1966 and attended Southern Colorado College (Currently CSU Pueblo) from 1966 -1968.
Carol was devoted to her career and held many different leadership roles, including Pueblo County Clerk’s Office, Apple Computer, and thirty-three years at School District 60, where she finalized her role as Supervisor of Human Resources. After retirement she worked as an office manager for Sharon Kessler, MD, Dermatology Clinic. She had a servant’s heart and relished in volunteering at Our Lady of the Meadows Church, Supervisory Committee for Sunwest Education Credit Union, President of Pitts Middle School Accountability Committee, South High School Accountability Committee, Pueblo Police Auxiliary, and many others.
Carol loved her girls and family more than anything, her unconditional love was abundant and never ending. On any given day you would find her cheering for her Broncos, her Rockies, or the golf channel was on the TV. Carol spent her final days at home with her daughters and family surrounded by love.
Cremation, T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, Funeral Mass for Carol J. Albo will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 9:45 AM at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church, 23 Starling Drive, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
