Bernice K. Green, 90, born to the union of Albert and Angeline Griemsman in Roundup, Montana and entered eternal life on March 9, 2014 in Pueblo. Preceded in death by former husband, John C. Burke; parents and granddaughter, Stacey Martensen. Survived by her daughters, Phyllis Martensen, Diana (Don) Reedy and Cathy (Mike) Roque; grandchildren, Tammy (Greg) Mitchell, Bodi (Chris) O’Connor, Bobby (Taura) Andrew, Alisha Martensen, Adrian Roque, and Adam Roque; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Cody, Bradon, Hunter, Trenton and Preston; brothers, George (Frances) Griemsman and Gordon Griemsman and sister, Wanda Wingard. Also survived by special friends, Tina Tripp, Venessa Valdez and numerous other friends and relatives. Bernice served during WWII in the US Women’s Army Air Corps. During her time in the military she worked on B17 Airplanes also known as Rosie the Riveter. She later enjoyed working at JCPenny and as a Steel Worker at CF&I Steel Mill. Bernice will be remembered as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand with a heart of gold. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
