Annie Ornelas, 79, departed this life at home surrounded by her family on February 6, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband Gabriel Ornelas Jr.; parents Andy and Emelia Archuleta; brothers Frutoso, Joseph and Raymond Archuleta and grandsons William Ornelas Jr. and Christopher Pacheco. Annie is survived by her loving husband Archie Velasquez; children Gina (Tom) Guerrero, Arlene (Rick) Martinez, Bill (Terrina) Ornelas, Tom (Yvette) Ornelas, and Audra (Pete Valdez) Ornelas; siblings Gilbert (Lorraine) Archuleta, Jennie Valdez and Caroline Romero. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Annie was completely devoted to her children and grandchildren, she loved Cripple Creek, dancing, socializing and had a great sense of humor. Funeral Mass 2:00pm Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Joseph Parish. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. There will be a reception following the services at Zaragoza Hall.
