Anna Velasquez, 86, born to the union of Agustin G. and Francisquita F. Aguilar on June 14, 1927 in Ribera, New Mexico and went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2013. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years whom she married on October 6, 1943, Candido Benito Velasquez; parents; siblings, File (Stella), Indalesio (Tillie), Dora (Nick), Lourdes (Joe), Anastasio (Cora), Nick (Louisa), Josephine (Robert) and Albinita (Tony). Survived by her loving children, Leo, Ben (Donna), Gloria (Sandy), Gilbert (Sue), Henry (Cheryl), Frances (Duane) and Joe (Stella); brothers, Donisio (Carolina) Aguilar and Orlando (Florida) Aguilar. grandchildren, Stacie Jo (Greg), Dawn (Matthew), Elizabeth (Alex), Candida, Jeremiah (Megan), Josh (Katie), Raven, Josiah (Amanda), Stephanie, Sophia, Olivia and Taelor (Joshua) and numerous great-grandchildren. Anna was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She served as an extraordinary Eucharistic Minister in charge of preparation of bread consecrated for Holy Communion for over 20 years. Anna will be remembered for her heart of gold, her love for cooking and baking and most of all, her love for her family. She was an elegant woman who will be dearly missed.
