Anna Marie Wiedman, age 95, of Pueblo West, Colorado passed away in her home on Sunday afternoon May 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by Clem, her husband of 65 years. She is survived by her children Jo Ann Wiedman, Westminster, Colorado; Kathy Turner, Chris, and Ricky, all of Pueblo West; and Mike (Gina), Villa Park, Illinois; eight grandchildren David Brummett, Maikalili Brummett, Amy Artwick, Christy Turner, Jesse Turner, Ryan Wiedman, Lukas Wiedman, and Rachel Wiedman; and five great-grandchildren.
Anna Marie was born to Harry and Bertha (Grobmyer) Rickelman in Effingham, Illinois on December 10, 1923. Anna Marie and Clem were married in Effingham on May 30, 1946. She was a faithful and devoted wife and loving Mother to her 5 children. She was active in volunteer and leadership positions of various church, school and civic activities and had also been a Girl Scout Leader in Illinois. She was an avid china painter and had won many awards for her creations. She was one of the founders of the Lansing (Illinois) Historical Society. Among Anna Marie’s other varied interests and hobbies were antiquing, travelling, camping, canoeing, sewing, knitting, rug braiding, oil painting, and playing pinochle.
Services are planned for Thursday May 30th at 11am at Saint Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, 1132 W. Oro Grande Dr., Pueblo West, CO 81007.
