He graduated from La Salle Academy, where he was active in debate. Bill attended the 13th R I model legislature as a Senator. He graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then went on to earn a master's in education at Rhode Island College. Bill taught Biology, Chemistry and General Science at Cranston High School West. He loved teaching and had wonderful memories of his students and his 35 years of teaching. He was lovingly referred to as "Doc Reilly" because in his early years of teaching he wore a white lab coat.
Bill loved all types of music from Jazz to Classical and everything in between, and he loved the theater. He had a passion for skiing. It's How he met his wife Suzanne. They shared 43 wonderful years together. He was a loving Son, Husband, Brother. and Uncle.
He leaves his wife Suzanne (Robert) Reilly, his brother Kurt Reilly,and his nephew Paul Chiaverini and his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10 am at St. Pius V. Church, 240 Eaton St., Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
