He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Kapinos) Landi for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James and Maria (D’Acchioli) Landi.
He was the beloved father of Gail A. Horbert and her husband Raymond Horbert Jr, David J. Landi and Michael V. Landi; grandfather of David Jr., Dustin, Raymond III, Melanie, Victoria and Julia; great-grandfather of Charlotte, Anthony, Ellie, Layna, David III and Vincenzo; brother of Anna Soares and Hilda Catalfamo. He was the brother of the late Louie, Flori, Americo, Theresa, Eleanor and Amelia.
Mr. Landi served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a truck driver until his retirement.
The family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Crest Nursing Home, especially Xiomara Moreta, Mekdes Kimfe and Fatima Aubourg for all their love and care.
Visitation Saturday 9:30-11:00 a.m. with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
