South Kingstown: Joyce, Vincent J., 85, of South Weeden Road, died Sunday at his home. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Beaudry) Joyce for 61 years.Born in Providence, the son of the late Thomas and Bridget (Nicholson) Joyce, Sr.Father of James V. Joyce of San Francisco, Edward F. Joyce of Matunuck, Patricia M. Joyce of East Greenwich, William T. Joyce of North Kingstown, Joan McCooey of Matunuck, Vincent J. Joyce Jr. of Charlestown, Michael P. Joyce of Matunuck, Stephen M. Joyce of Matunuck and Robert J. Joyce of Kingston. Survived by 16 grandchildren and a great grandson.Brother of the late Thomas F. Joyce, Jr., Edward J. Joyce, Mary Zorabedian and Christina Joyce.Vincent was a sales representative for the Providence Gas Company for 32 years. He was the founder and proprietor, along with his wife Theresa of The Joyce Family Pub in Matunuck from 1976 to 2008. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a volunteer the Matunuck Fire Department and the South Kinstown Fire Police.His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am inSt. Francis of Assisi Church, 128 High St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-7 pm.
