My Brother , sweet and so kind . took way to soon. Its Christmas and Me and My Mom miss you so much, not a day goes by that we don't wish you were with us.. We love you with all our hearts and souls.

It was with tremendous shock and sorrow that we learned of Steve’s unexpected death. God must have needed him desperately to take that smiling face, those sparkling eyes and that unending humor away from those who loved him dearly here on earth! Our sincere condolences to Jeannie and Vinny, Tayla, Donna and Jimmy and all those who knew him, grew up with him, worked with him, and were able to enjoy his zest for life. What a great guy- he will be sorely missed! Rest In Peace, Steve- Heaven has to be a happier place with you in it!

Steve and I first met each other back at St. Mary's.  We became good friends, and enjoyed many laughs together over the years.  I remember how we could use a simple line from a movie or comedy bit at the right time and it would cause our group of friends to bust a gut laughing.  While we went out separate ways after high school, his sense of humor and pleasant personality always stuck with me.  Even to this day, whenever I hear an old Steve Martin joke or watch an old Mel Brooks movie, I think of Steve.  Steve touched many and always left them with a smile.  Rest in peace, my old friend.  My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Stevie, you are already truly missed. You know aunty always loved you and we had so many wonderful times together. We laughed and hugged and shared many precious moments in life. Beloved son of Vincent & Jeanne Difalco Father to Talya Tavares,brother to Donna Hawes Difalco and brother in law to James Hawes.Steve resided with his daughter Tayla Tavares and fiancé Jeff Beltran in Providence Rhode Island. He graduated from Cranston West and lived in Cranston most of his life . Steve was a Military Veteran who proudly served in the 82nd airborne .Steve was a passionate arborist & landscape designer. He loved his music with a passion, he loved to sing ,write songs and play his guitar for hours, Steve was a humble and simple person,  never jealous, always giving and helping others . He was unique in every way, Steve enjoyed doing shows in Las Vegas with his family, and looked forward to enjoying a big juicy steak and playing the slots, He loved just sticking a spoon in a big tub of frosting and eating it, he loved cup cakes. Oreo's. Star Trek ,westerns, crosswords, Steve was very Intelligent, watching Jeopardy and knowing all the answers. He was so funny and would light up a room with his sense of humor. If you were down he would lift you up. I mean it could be the worst day you ever had and in just a few words he could put a smile on your face.  Steve will be so missed by his family, friends and girlfriend Stacy. May god make him an angel in Heaven because that is what he was on earth to all of us.

I probably haven’t seen Stephen in 20 years. But I never forgot that if he wasn’t smiling or laughing he was making other people smile or laugh. Just a nice guy.

I am so sorry for your loss, it came as a great shock to me when I heard the news.  Stevie was a friend of my son Jack, he and Chris and the rest of the boys were always at my house.  Stevie was kind and always helpful to me whether it was cutting the  grass or painting for me! I remember his laugh the most!  He will be sorely missed by all. And I hope you have some comfort in knowing he will always be with you as your angel 👼.

Stephen was a kind gentle soul who I remember as always laughing.  He lived life on his own terms having fun and touching the lives of so many... Tayla has definitely inherited his charm and beautiful blue eyes!  I pray for the family that they may find peace in this dark time ❤️RIP Stephen

Hey Steve, you and my mom shared quite a healthy and fun relationship a few years back. You always gave great advice and were always supportive of me with  some of my toughest times during my youth. You’ve welcomed me into your families home on a Christmas Eve having a great dinner and just an all around good time. You were always cool to talk too, and have over at the house. I am truly heart broken you have passed away. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything, and for being you. 

Steve was such a very happy upbeat kind of guy who was a pleasure to see when I would visit. May his family find solace in this devastating moment of loss knowing he is resting peacefully in the loving arms of our lord and will always be only a thought away. Xo

Steve , I knew him as Mayor ( a nickname from his gf Stacy)... was one of the kindest people I ever had the privilege of  meeting.
Steve was an optimist, He always had a kind word a listening ear and saw the good in every situation...
He simply was a breath of fresh air.
His aura was Infectious and had the unique ability of making people laugh.

Stevie T , aka 'The God of Sod",  "Mr. Siesta" , and "The PortugueseTornado ." Steve was a brother, a friend , and a mentor. I have known Steve since high school. I had the distinct pleasure of working with him countless times , for more than thirty years ! He was very unique, very creative, and had an exceptional eye for detail. All of these qualities , and many more , were ever present in his life outside of work. Loved by everyone fortunate enough to be in his company  , and always the one to make you laugh when you needed to laugh. He wrote many songs , played guitar, and sang. His love for his family and friends is and Always will be touching. I learned a lot from Steve , and he will be missed ! 

So sorry to hear of Steven’s passing, I knew him from landscaping for many years. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I knew Steve from the Landscaping business for many many years.  He was always smiling and happy and an extremely talented craftsman.  I will certainly miss seeing him around and chatting with him..  May he rest in peace.
