Petrarca, Sharon E. (Finegan), 54, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday July 24, 2008. Sharon grew up in Warwick and lived most of her adult life in West Warwick. She was the beloved mother of Lauren E. Petrarca and James M. Petrarca, both of West Warwick, and the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Finegan. Cherished sister of Frank Finegan of Newport, John Finegan of South Kingstown, and Joan Greene of North Kingstown, she will also be dearly missed by her eight nieces and nephews. Sharon loved her jobs at the Department of Labor and Training and the West Warwick Public library. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed giving back to the community.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on WEDNESDAY, July 30, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, Warwick. Burial will be private.
