Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Aaron and Edith (Greenstein) Bilgor, she was a life-long resident of Rhode Island.
A graduate of Hope High School, Class of 1961, Sandra earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Rhode Island in 1965 and was a public school teacher in Rhode Island for over forty years before retiring. Sandra enjoyed knitting and was an extremely skilled Scrabble player, competing in and winning many tournaments in the area. She was a longtime member of Temple Beth El in Providence.
In addition to her husband she is survived by: her brother William Bilgor of East Brunswick, New Jersey and two nieces, Jayme Morris and her husband Richard and Lesli Bilgor.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Sons of Israel and David Cemetery, 401 Reservoir Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island. Relatives and friends are invited.
Arrangements are in the care of Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, Providence.
