Dad after so many days since you left all of us ,This horrible pain does not want to subside. It is so intense so painful that there are days that I do not want to go on with life, I miss you so much and no one understands . I find myself zoning off at any giving time just remembering your gorgeous smile and you loving voice telling me you love me . Dad I dont know how much more I can take without you here , It hurts so much dad and now Mom is gone as well . I lost the two most important people in my life in such a short time and I can not handle the pain dad please help me dad please , I need you to let me know that everything will be ok . Dear Joan and family...we were so sorry to learn of Sal's passing. My mother, Muffy, lived next door to Sal and Joan at West Bay for the past 6 months. Sal helped make my Mom's transition there so much easier with his friendly smile each day and his horn on his walker! He loved to tease our grandchildren whenever we would come to visit Muffy their great grandmother. Although we only knew Sal a short time he was a wonderful addition to our lives and to ALL of the people at West Bay...what a loss for the whole community there. To the Lombardi Family,

On behalf of all of my family, let me express my sincerest sympathies to all of you.  I will always have great childhood memories of time spent with Mr. Lombardi, Mrs. Lombardi, Sal Jr. and all of you girls. Dad no one will ever know how much you meant to me ,  you taught me so much . You showed me true kindness. You opened your door to me and welcomed me into your home never judging me. Living together 25 years knowing you more than half my life you showed me a happy home. We were there for each other , you have been there for me in ways that can not be put Into words. Hi Grandpa. I will miss you very much. I am so sorry i didn't come to see you once you got sick. I will always remember how excited you were to see me when  I came to West Bay. We always joked about the bike horn on your walker. I remember how when i came to visit we would go on excursions in the building and you introduced me to everyone. It made you so happy to show your grandson to all of your friends, I enjoyed meeting them too! I am going to miss you singing Italian songs and turning basically everything into a song. Although you are gone, I really do believe that you are in a better place. You can now be comfortable and you can sing to your mom, dad, and brothers. I will always think of you and love you.

To my dearest grandfather, you were truly a great man. If I have one regret in life it would be not telling you how much you meant to me and spending every free moment of time I had with you when I had the chance. I hope you can hear me now when I tell you I love you and I will never forget all the times you have been there for me. I remember times I needed something and you would be busy and say "what do you need now?" , but you still always did or gave me what ever it was I asked for. You had such an innocent heart, you never seen any bad in anyone you met. A heart filled with so much love and joy, thinking back now I honestly can't think of a time when i saw you angry.
