Rose D'Alfonso

North Providence: D'Alfonso, Rose, 88, of Woodcliff Ave, died Monday at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Lawrence D'Alfonso.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Gabriele) D'Agnenica.Mrs. D'Alfonso was a jewelry worker for many years for various jewlery companies in Rhode Island.She was a communicant of Mary, Mother of Mankind Church.She leaves two sons, Lawrence D'Alfonso of Providence, Benedetto "Benny" D'Alfonso of North Providence, two daughters, Rosemary Bessette of North Dakota and Linda A. Isherwood of North Providence, two sisters, Margaret Santagata and Mary Consiglio, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Joseph, Robert, and Anthony D'Agnenica, Gelsomina Lang, Liberata Lanzi, Rachel Rossi and Etta Quintal.Funeral Friday at 9:00am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence. Mass of Chrsitian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, Fourth St. North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Thursday, 5-8pm.
