I have always enjoyed the food from them as long as I can remember. He was always nice and friendly with some interesting conversation thrown in.  Me and my wife especially liked him as we would have a laugh getting food and heading out. 

They don’t make them like that anymore , to the family ,I wish them well and my condolences.

 Life is Short and we’re lucky to have spent moments or years with people like him ,I will miss him flirting with the bank people while I’m there as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Gauthier family.  Bob was a great friend, I had the pleasure of knowing him for 20 years. I was in his shop weekly, just to support a local business and to sit and chat with him for an hour or two. I always left him smiling, rest easy my friend. Until we meet again!

So sorry to see that you're Dad has passed!  I was surprised & saddened.  I'm sure he's much happier now, together with Dolly.  I know he missed her so.  He was such a nice guy to talk to, as well as to listen to his stories & share opinions with.  He will be sadly missed.  I'm so glad I was able to catch one last chat with him outside of Riccotti's, as he was closing....He got to see my new SUV!!  Hope to see you around town, sometime soon, too. Will always remember him as a happy jovial guy.
Worked with Bob in the Almacs Freezer as a selector
In the summers from 1970-1973.
He was part of the Almacs family.
Stopped by a few times to see him at Ricotti’s ,wish I had stopped in more.

I am so saddened to hear this terrible news. Robert was an amazing person, and was always so nice to others. I remember helping him every Friday for the last year and a half, and he would always order the same thing at Captains Catch; a smelt plate. We would always give him extra smelts because he was such a nice guy, and as we got to know him a little more, he brought steak and cheese sandwiches to Captains Catch every week to give to the staff members. He had such a big heart, and will always be remembered by the family at Captains Catch, North Providence. 

We are shocked and saddened to hear this terrible news. Bob was such a great guy. We always had the best conversations.  He will be truly missed by us and the town of Johnston. Our sympathy to his family.

I was so sorry to read Mr. Gauthier had passed away. I always enjoyed stopping in the shop as he waiting on me and was very cordial, and spoke like a real gentleman. 

That generation of hard work is just about gone. They don't make hard workers like your Dad anymore. His work ethic was outstanding, and made the best tuna sandwiches anywhere!
