Robert G. Battista

Born in Providence, he was a son of Antonio and Letizia (Falasca) Battista.

He proudly served in the United States Army.

Robert worked hard to provide for his family, working two jobs for most of his life.

He was a sports enthusiast who loved golfing and bowling as well as watching football, especially the Patriots.

More than anything else, he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He was the loving father of Elizabeth McGowan, Patricia Ventura, Robert A. Battista, and Cheryl LaQuale; cherished grandfather of Brenda McGowan, Jason Ventura, and Gianna LaQuale; and brother of the late Louis, Mario and Raymond Battista, Christine, Joseph and Guido Attanasio, Della Caldarone, Edith Sequino, Joseph Falasca, and Savina George.

Visitation will be held Saturday 8:00-9:30 a.m. from the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
