It is with sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lillie, who passed away peacefully in Smithfield on March 19th, 2020 at the age of 61 after a long battle with chronic illness. He was born in 1958 to Henry and Eva Lillie of Providence. Richard was the proud husband to Jeanne Lillie, who was his faithful partner and caregiver for over 38 years before her recent passing in September. Richard’s passing, while sad, represents the opportunity for him to be reunited with his “Eskimo” in Heaven now.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Carroll & Angelica Williams and his sons James Arsenault & Brandon Lillie; along with his grandchildren, Kaylynn & Nathan Carroll, Alexias & Adriana Arsenault, and Derek, Xaviea & Malaki Williams. He also leaves behind many brothers and sisters.
Richard’s life will be celebrated in a private family ceremony. He requested that instead of sending cards or flowers, please make donations to the RISPCA at 186 Amaral Street, East Providence, RI 02915.
