Raymond Pannone

Raymond was born on June 5th 1934, to the late Nicholas and Concetta (Mancini) Pannone in Providence, Rhode Island. Raymond graduated from Pawtucket West High School and went on to study at Providence College. Upon graduation, he served in the 25th Infantry of the United States Army. Following his service in the United States Armed Forces, Raymond opened his own insurance agency in Pawtucket, Rhode Island where he served his community for 30 years. Upon retiring, Raymond relocated to Cape Coral, Florida where he enjoyed the sunshine and his passion for fishing and boating.

Raymond was predeceased by his partner of 60 years, Dolores Carruolo. He is survived by his sister, Norma (Pannone) Raiola, of Newport, Rhode Island, his 2 nephews, Charles Raiola of Exeter Rhode Island, John Raiola of Newport, Rhode Island and his niece, Carolyn (Raiola) Jordan of Cape Coral, Florida, and his great-nephew John Raiola, Jr. of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
