Raymond A. Choquette, age 83, passed away May 18, 2022. He was a son of the late Joseph A.R. and Elizabeth A. (DeRosa) Choquette; beloved husband of Nora M. (Gallant) Choquette; father of Raymond Choquette, Denise Castillo (Joe), Renee Casey, and Christopher Choquette; brother of Ronald Choquette, Shirley O’Brien, Barbara Chamberlain, Constance Remka, Mary Cardarelli, and the late William Choquette, Leo Choquette, Joseph Fascitelli, and Sandra Tulli; grandfather of 6; and great-grandfather of 5.
He proudly served in the United States Army.
He was also known as Grady and “Papa” by his grandchildren and others. He worked as a truck driver his whole life and was the biggest Elvis fan. He was the life of the party, telling jokes to anyone who would listen. He had the best dance moves. Everyone would stand by and watch as he “cut the rug” at weddings and parties. He was gentle and kind yet strong as an Ox. He was a man’s man an extremely hard worker who loved his family.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
