Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of Madeline Mangual and the late Philip Carlos.
Phil worked for Minkin Construction.
He was the father Kashmere Carlos Cruz, Destiny Cruz, Gianna Cruz and stepfather of Isaia Cruz. He was also the brother of Keisha Ford and Shania Morales Mangual; uncle of Gianna Ford Ortiz, Epi Ortiz, and Tavian Demarco and great uncle of Jashaun Ford-Ryals, Epi, Messiah, Emarion and nephew to several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
