Patricia Ann Baribault

Patricia A. Baribault, 87, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Baribault.

    Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Austin J. and Marguerite (McCusker) O’Malley, and upon the death of her mother in 1939, she was lovingly raised by Leo and Margaret Balentine.

    Patricia was the Payroll Manager for the Town of North Providence for many years before retiring. A graduate of Saint Xavier Academy, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and grandchildren and will be sorely missed. She also enjoyed going to the beach, watching movies, and her dogs Pepe and Jesse.

    She leaves two daughters, Elizabeth A. D’Amore and her husband Donald and Dorothea E. Baribault-Sampson; three sisters, Jeannine Brey, Jane Balentine and Margaret Martinelli; a brother, Brian E. O’Malley; and four grandchildren, William E. D’Amore, Samuel A. D’Amore, Jonathan M. D’Amore and Haley Patricia Sampson. She was predeceased by two  brothers, Austin J. O’Malley, Jr., Robert E. O’Malley; a sister, Margaret O’Malley Farrell; and her son in law, Michael J. Sampson.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 9, at 10:00 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.  

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory would be appreciated.
