Nicholas St. Angelo, age 90, passed away peacefully October 3, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Eleanor (Piti) St. Angelo who was the love of his life.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Margaret (Sweeney) St. Angelo.
He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was also a Eucharistic Minister for St. Agnes Church and a member of St. Jude’s Society.
Nick was an avid golfer and baseball player and was a diehard Red Sox fan, but more than anything else, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and his great-granddaughter.
He was the loving father of Nicholas St. Angelo (Anil) of Arlington, VA, Cheryl-Ann Anderson (Roger) of Johnston, Michael St. Angelo (Gina) of Cranston, Suzanne Rehbein (William) of Cranston, and David St. Angelo (Angie) of Westerly; cherished grandfather of Anthony Anderson, Robert Anderson, David St. Angelo, Megan St. Angelo, and Alexa St. Angelo and great-grandfather of Sophia Ellie Anderson. He was also the brother of the late Joseph St. Angelo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham St, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
