Nicholas DiStefano Jr.

Nicholas DiStefano Jr., 88, passed away February 7, 2016 with his loving daughters by his side. He was the husband of the late Joan B. (Luther) DiStefano; son of the late Nicholas Sr. and Loretta (Cambio) DiStefano; father of Ann D. Giorgio and Lori J. Nye and her husband Norman; cherished grandfather of Nicole, Amanda and Nathan; great-grandfather of Miguel and Ysabelle; brother of Sylvester DiStefano, Gloria Orlandi, and the late Jane Zannini, Nellie Bianco and Robert DiStefano.

Mr. DiStefano was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the Lymansville VFW Post 10011. He was a housing inspector for the Town of North Providence and was also the co-owner of the North Providence Venetian Blind Co. with his brother Sylvester.

Visitation and funeral will be held on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. from PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
