Nancy A. Coughlin, 82, of North Providence, died Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of James T. Coughlin for the past 52 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (King) Hastie.
Nancy was a kind and loving person who was dedicated to her family and friends.
In addition to her husband James, she leaves three sons, William J. Coughlin and his wife Leah, James T. Coughlin, Jr., and his wife Jacqueline, and Andrew S. Coughlin and his wife Danielle, three daughters, Maureen N. Aubin and her husband John, Susan E. Coughlin, and Ellen C. Coughlin, a sister, Janice Whiteside, and five grandsons, Christopher, John, Scott, Corey, and Matthew, along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William and David Hastie.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 6, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rte. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 7, in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
