Michelle T. Lopes

ProvidenceLopes, Michelle T., 63, formerly of 37 Greenwich Street, died Thursday at home. She was the wife of Horace H. "Doc" Castle. They had been married for thirty-one years. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, a daughter of Amos Lopes of Newport, and Evelyn M. Gaddy and Henry R. Gaddy of Pennsylvania, she lived in Providence most of her life. Michelle was a Certified Nursing Assistant for Kimberly Quality Care for several years before retiring due to illness. Beside her husband, and parents, she leaves a daughter, Jeanine Antone, two sons, Mark Antone, and Donald Antone, a brother, Peter Gaddy, four sisters, Gail Lopes, Glenda Thomas, Stephanie Lopes, and Sharon Taylor, twelve grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her son, Keith Antone, Sr. The funeral service will be held Monday, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Committal prayers will follow in the Swan Point Committal Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 in her memory will be appreciated.
