Born in Providence he was the beloved son of John A. Rocchio, Jr. and Diane (Lombardo) Rocchio.
Michael was a purchasing agent for the family owned business, John Rocchio Corporation of Smithfield, RI.
He was the beloved brother of John A. Rocchio, III and his wife Florencia and Nicholas Rocchio; uncle of John IV and Juliana; and cherished grandson of John A. Rocchio, Sr. and Barbara Rocchio and Henry and Lucille Lombardo. Michael also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael loved life and spending time with his family. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and enjoyed collecting all types of sports memorabilia. His spirit was larger than life and he will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Cathedral of S.S. Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Family respectfully requests visitation for family only at the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence from 9:30 – 10:30 am .
