Michael A. Plante, 47, of Central Avenue, East Providence, died unexpectedly Monday, April 29, 2013, at home. Born in Providence, and raised in the Smith Hill neighborhood, he was a son of the late Arthur F. and Elaine (Melinoski) Plante. Mike was a dye mixer for Organic Dyestuffs Corporation, of East Providence, for the past seventeen years. He leaves a brother, Arthur Plante Beauchamp; a sister, Carmen Plante; a nephew, Miguel Plante Torres, as well as his many friends and co-workers. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by two sisters, Penny Plante and Dawn Plante. The funeral service, and visitation, will be held Monday morning, May 6, 2013, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, The funeral service will begin at 10:30 am, with burial to follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
