Michael A. Fandetti

Michael A Fandetti, 79, of Parrish, FL, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2021. He was the devoted husband of Lynne M (Sciamacco) Fandetti. Born in Providence, RI he was the son of the late Michaelangelo Fandetti and Amelia (Rossi) Fandetti. He lived in RI until moving to Florida 7 years ago.

Mike, or Mickey as he was also known, proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He worked for the RI Lottery for 28 years retiring in 2002. He was an avid golfer and was a long time member of Country View Golf Club which he served as President and a member of West Warwick Country Club. He was a past member of the Smithfield Elks Lodge and a current member of the Knights of Columbus Bouffard Council in North Providence, RI. Mickey was also an avid hunter and member of the Lincoln Rod and Gun Club. He had many friends in both RI and FL. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Seth L. Fandetti, sister Marie McGuire and late husband Larry, brothers Robert Fandetti and fiancé Dorothy Ryan, David Fandetti and his wife Gayle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family, and his best and loyal friend Rizzo.

A memorial service with Military honors will be held on Saturday, May 15 at 11:30 a.m. at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail Exeter, RI 02822.

Those who wish to attend the services will assemble at 11:00 a.m. in the office parking lot immediately to the right of the cemetery entrance.
