PAWTUCKET --- COEN, Michael B., 66, of West Lawn Avenue, died Saturday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Mary B. (Henry) Coen. They had been married for 40 years. Born in Crossmolina, Co. Mayo, Ireland, a son of the late John J. and Agnes P. (Marsh) Coen, he had lived in Pawtucket for 30 years, previously living in the Smith Hill neighborhood of Providence. Mr. Coen was the owner of the Spring Hill Farms convenience store in North Providence for 25 years. He had previously been a machinist at Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co. He was a veteran of the RI Air National Guard, and had been a member of the RI Irish Drama Society. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Brendan M. Coen of San Francisco, CA, and John J. Coen and his wife Michelle of Coventry; two brothers Patrick C. Coen of Westwood MA, and James D. Coen of Coventry; a sister Elizabeth Pomfret of Coventry and Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John J. Coen, Bridget Kane, and Olive Urban. His funeral will be Wednesday at 9am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial; at 10am in St. Maria Goretti Church, 155 Power Rd., Pawtucket. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8pm.
