Michael Bishop Alexander (Miquel Gamboa) age 66, of Providence, Rhode Island died peacefully at home after a long journey with cancer. Michael's walk in life was one of great faith which he held fast until his last breath. God called him home on Sunday, August 2, 2015.
Michael worked at the Bank of America for 20 years and retired in 2011 as Asst. Vice President of Asset Trust Management.
He was the son of the late Jose and Firmina Gamboa and is survived by his wife Michelle, his daughters Misty and her husband Damon Mc Clendon and Shelly and her husband Anthony Thompson, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers, Ernest, Jose, John and Richard and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at the First Church of the Nazarene, 764 Hathaway Road, New Bedford, MA 02740. Floral deliveries to the church will be welcomed after 9:00 am Saturday morning.
