Mary E. (Duphiney) Williams entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, May 28th in Plant City, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Her Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 5th at the Incarnation Church in Sarasota, FL. and her Burial took place in the Sarasota National Cemetery on June 8th.
Mary was born in Pawtucket, RI on November 26, 1940 to the late Mary E. (Taylor) Duphiney and Nelson F. Duphiney.
Mary was married to the late Robert T. Williams and is survived by her 3 children, Marie (Williams) Miles of Brattleboro, VT (formerly of Plant City, FL) Robert T. Williams of Sarasota, FL, and Kerrie (Williams) Brown and her husband, Paul, of Plant City, FL.
Mary had 10 grandchildren, Katy, Elaine, JR, Mary, Kristen, Kasey, Josie, and the late Annie Grace, Michael and Elizabeth, and 4 great grandchildren, Sean, Evelyn, Kaidence and Adriana.
Mary leaves her sisters, Elaine M. Duphiney of No. Providence and Catherine E. (Duphiney) Albin and her husband, Leo, of Warwick, RI, and her brothers, Nelson F. Duphiney and his wife, Jeanne, of Richmond, IN, Edward J. Duphiney and his wife, Elizabeth, of Altamonte Springs, FL, and the late Daniel Patrick Duphiney.
Mary also leaves 4 nephews, David, Christopher, Mark and his wife, Angela, Brian and his wife, Ashley, and 2 great nephews, Joshua, Nathan and his wife, Lindsay, and 1 great niece, Taylor, and many cousins.
Mary graduated from St Edward's School in Pawtucket, RI, and Sacred Heart High School in Pawtucket. She worked in the Business Office of Shartenberg's Clothing Store in Pawtucket and in several Law Offices in Pawtucket and Providence before moving to Florida where she worked in several Law Offices, Bank Offices, Real Estsate Offices, the Office of the Diocese of Venice and Hospice Care Facilities.
Mary loved her Prayer Group and working in her Music Ministries in Florida where, with others, she played guitar and sang to lead the Worship at Masses, Prayer Meetings, Healing Services and Charismatic Conferences in several Cities and Churches.
She loved her dogs and living near the ocean. She loved to walk, especially near the beach areas, and loved to play golf when her health would allow. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a wonderful sister, friend and intercessor in prayer.
She was a very caring person and friend and personally helped many, many people, some right to the end.
Mary will be very deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
