Mary Spagnoli

Mary Spagnoli, age 99, formally of Providence, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2023 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Cranston RI. She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Spagnoli, Sr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Marietta ( Morgera ) Mele.

Mrs. Spagnoli earned her Associate's Degree from Bryant College and was a faithful communicant of St. Augustine Church, Providence.

Mary worked as a secretary for the Providence Water Supply Board for many years before her retirement.

Mary was a devoted mother of, Salvatore N. Spagnoli and his wife Diane, Robert N. Spagnoli, Carol T. Cataldi and her husband Louis, Janice M. McCormick and her husband Paul, Deborah Spagnoli wife of the late Joseph Spagnoli Jr. Mama Mary's adoring grandchildren, Lisa Reisner and her husband Erik, Dina Cataldi, Lauren DeMarco and her husband David, Joseph Spagnoli, David Spagnoli and his wife Brianna. Mama Mary also leaves her cherished great grandchildren, Anabelle Reisner, Maddie Reisner Olivia Spagnoli and Gianna DeMarco.

Mary was mother of the late Joseph N. Spagnoli, Jr. and sister of the late John Mele, Ciro Mele and Bernadette Stack.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM in the Russell J Boyle and Son Funeral Homes, 331 Smith St., Providence, RI. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
