Marion A. Moreland (Bonner), 84, formerly of Governor Francis Farms in Warwick, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, May 10, 2016, at Victoria Court, Cranston. She was the widow of the late Lieutenant William Moreland, Jr. (Providence Fire Dept.) She was the mother of the late William Moreland III, also a Providence fireman. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Earl F. and Marie (Gebhart) Bonner. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Impagliazzo, of Wakefield, and Beverly Lasher, of Warwick; a sister, Patricia Burns, of Sanford, FL; nine grandchildren - Kathryn Haddad, J. Joseph Impagliazzo, Allyson Lasher-Aubin, Michael Lasher, Wendy Lasher-Boudreau, and Megan, William IV, Daniel, and Erin Moreland, as well as her dearly beloved great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Earl “Sonny” Bonner. Her funeral will be begin with a viewing on Monday, May 16, 2016, at 8:00 am, at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117), Warwick. A service will be held at 9:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence.
