Mario DiDonato

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Loretta (Bellini) DiDonato.

Mario worked for DiMeo Construction for 30 years before retiring. During his tenure, one of his accomplishments was being actively involved in the construction of the Providence Civic Center. He also enjoyed the beach and most of all loved his family.

He was the father of Mario DiDonato, Jr. and Monica DiDonato; grandfather of Jessica, James, Alexa, Benjamin and Brooke and great grandfather of John and Olivia. He was also the brother of Elda Ponatelli and the late Frank, Albert, Guido and Bill DiDonato, Domenica Battista and Bertha Desirey.

His funeral with visitation will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston.
