Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Raffaella (DiPanni) Rossi; wife of David J. Manfredi; mother of Kimberly A. DiIorio, Nichole M. DiIorio, Thomas A. DiIorio, Anthony J. DiIorio, Thomas B. Forlini and Erica M. Forlini and stepmother of David Manfredi Jr.; grandmother of Robbie, Briana, Nick, Shaylee, baby Ant, MJ, Wyatt, Leo, Gio, Ella, Skyler, Gian, and great-grandmother of Esme; sister of Joseph Rossi, Michael Rossi, Lucille Ferrer and Cheryl Rossi.
Marie had many talents but of all she was known as the top chef. Through her food she touched many lives and filled many bellies. Her laugh filled the room making all smile when they heard her. She loved to be around her family and her friends. Marie will be known as the Princess always, lending a helping hand whenever she was needed. She will be loved and missed by many.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Please omit flowers.
