Marie M. McCaffrey Fraioli

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Boyer) McCaffrey; mother of Linda Carnevale and Sheila LaFlamme, both of Providence, and the late Armand and Michael LaFlamme; grandmother of 7 and 1 great-grandchild; sister of Susan Wistrand of Florida, James McCaffrey of Florida, and Richard McCaffrey of Massachusetts; sister of the late Andrew, Robert, Thomas, Anthony, Joseph and Theresa McCaffrey, Beatrice Lanoue and Florence St. Jean.

Marie had worked at the Butterfly Jewelry Co. in Providence for 20 years before retiring. She will always be remembered for her generous and caring heart, and above all, devotion to family. She was involved in charity work with local church groups and provided loving care to elderly family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, crocheting, and making others laugh.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
