Maria G. Palazzo

Maria G. (Meschino) Palazzo, age 91, of North Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024. Born in Itri, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Elizabeth (Mancini) Meschino. She was the beloved wife of the late Vittorio M. Palazzo.

She was the devoted mother of Francesca Palazzo (Vaughn Stockwell), Gabriella Seguin (Kenneth Seguin Sr.), and Marco Palazzo (Helen Palazzo); cherished grandmother of Joseph Rubiano, Kenneth Seguin Jr., Kristen Lisi, Jason Seguin, Alexander Palazzo, and Ariana Vazquez; loving great-grandmother of Anthony, Giovanni, Davonte, Justina, Gianna, Emma, Drew and Kelly and aunt of several nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind her sister Elena Meschino Manzo and brothers Angelo Meschino, Francesco Meschino, and Querino Meschino of Italy. She was predeceased by her sister Palmina Meschino Peppo and brothers Antonio Meschino and Domenico Meschino of Italy.

Mrs. Palazzo was a communicant of St. Anthony Catholic Church and worked as a jewelry assembler and bus monitor. She enjoyed her family, traveling, gardening and cooking.

Her visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. from the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Graveside Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
