Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ciccone and Anna Ciccone (Antuono). Lucia was the loving wife of the late Frank Altobell; the beloved mother to Susan Sheridan and her husband Donald; sister to the late Ralph Ciccone and Phyllis Landy. Lucia was also the adored Grandmother to Courtney and Jessica Sheridan.
Lucia, affectionately known as "Nini,” was renowned for her culinary talents, earning her the title of best cook. Her meatballs were legendary and the aroma of her kitchen was a comforting embrace, a testament to the love she poured into every dish.
Devoted to her family, Lucia's granddaughters held a special place in her heart, and the love she showered upon them was immeasurable. Whether it was sharing stories, a trip to Wendy’s for a Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, she cherished every opportunity to be with her granddaughters.
Lucia's devotion to her daughter was unparalleled. A daily ritual of phone calls became a lifeline of love and connection, illustrating the profound bond between a mother and daughter.
