Louis J. Moreau Sr.

Born in Louisiana, he was the son of the late Theodore and Leah (McGee) Moreau; husband of Arline (Gomes) Moreau; father of Robert A. Moreau and his wife Patricia, and the late Louis J. Moreau Jr.; grandfather of Robert Moreau Jr. and Jennifer Moreau; great-grandfather of Alexia Rene Moreau-Darling; brother of Theophile Moreau III, Beverly Moreau, Lucille Guillory, Albertha Guillory and the late Robert J., Helena and Dorothy Moreau, Nelson and Collin Guillory.

Louis had worked as a forklift operator before retiring and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday 8-9:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence. Graveside burial with military honors will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
