Born in Providence, Lillian was the daughter of the late Creighton and Gertrude (Butcher) James.
Besides her husband, Lillian is survived by her children, Jason Cole, Robert Cole, Jr., Mark Goldstein, Tammy Dwinnell, her brothers, Walter James, Dennis James, 11 grandchildren, Nicole Morris, Kellie Morris, Stephanie Goldstein, Stephen Goldstein, Alex Goldstein, Dennis Paulo, Sabrina Cole, Ari Cole, Hazel Cole, Noah Goldstein, Sophia Goldstein, and her 8 great grandchildren Nyasia, Avyona, Journey, Kyle, Isiah, Emma, Brian and Nova. She was the mother of the late Gayle Goldstein and sister of the late Gerald James.
Visiting hours Thursday, 3:00 - 6:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
