PROVIDENCE - ALDRICH, Lillian C., 86, of New York Avenue, died Saturday at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Aldrich. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alfred and Jennie (Ostenberg) Benson, she was a lifelong city resident. Mrs. Aldrich worked as a domestic for several private families in Providence for many years until her retirement. She is survived by nine nieces and nephews including Nancy C. Morookian, who also was her caregiver, Judith McGinn, Janice Berard, Mary Hillman, Linda Watt, Paul, Robert, and Eric Benson, and Gail Warren. She was the sister of the late Eric A. Benson and Marion Brun. Her funeral and burial will be private.
