Kenneth G. Roberts

Kenneth G. Roberts, age 92, of East Greenwich passed peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Elaine Katz Roberts, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage.

Born in Willimantic, Connecticut, a son of the late Jack Robbins and Dora Silberger, he had lived in Warwick and East Greenwich, RI for the past 64 years.

Ken served in the United States Marines from 1951-1953. He was a successful self-employed entrepreneur and inventor. His most joyous days were as the former co-founder, and owner with his wife Elaine, of Harbour Galleries in East Greenwich, RI, where he was able to share his knowledge and skills of fine jewelry.

Wholeheartedly true to his values and beliefs, kind, and loving, most precious to Ken, were all things associated with his family. He enjoyed to see the world through his love for photography and was comforted by his annual visits to his favorite place - Nova Scotia. As a man of relatively few words, his remarks will always be remembered by those he touched.

In addition to his wife Elaine, survivors include: three children, Cathy Roberts and her husband Cam Pierel of Montville, ME; Leslie Krumholz and her husband Harlan Krumholz of Guilford, CT and Steven Roberts and his wife Maryam Roberts of San Francisco, CA; nine grandchildren, Ben Roberts-Pierel and wife Tjorven, Alex Roberts-Pierel and wife Nina, Justin Roberts-Pierel and wife Ellie, Sam Krumholz and wife Akana, Rebecca Krumholz and husband Matthew, Sarah Krumholz and husband Billy, Hannah Krumholz and soon to be husband Jeremy, Leila Roberts and Yassi Roberts and three great grandchildren, Satsuki Krumholz-Noto, Aaron and Nora Gottesdiener.
