Kenneth P. Maguire

Maguire, Kenneth P., 77, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. He was the husband of Barbara (DeFusco) Maguire to whom he was married 53 years. Born in Providence a son of the late Donald and Katherine (Erickson) Maguire, he was a lifelong Cranston resident.

Mr. Maguire was a proud veteran of the US Army and member of the Local Union 618, Providence AFL Retirees. A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church he was also a sports enthusiast.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Kenneth P. Maguire, Jr.; daughter, Kim Parent; brother, Harold Maguire; sisters, Ann St. Laurent, Donna Petraca and Janice Johnston; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Johnna Maguire and Madison Parent. He was the brother of the late Donald Maguire and Judy O’Rourke.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 19th at 9 AM from ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Ave., Providence, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston, RI 02920. Burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Tuesday 4 -7PM. Contributions may be made in his memory to Immaculate Conception Church.
