Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Barrington) Walsh; devoted mother of Gary Kraus (Beverly), Paula J. Kraus, Sharon E. Beauvais (John) and Karen A. Addison; grandmother of Jeffrey Kraus, Kayla Ingegneri (Brandon), Ashley Addison and Kelsey Beauvais; great-grandmother of Ethan and Nova; sister of Thomas Walsh and the late Edward Walsh, Margaret Tramonti, Barbara Tenerella, Jean Gallo and Carol Cashion.
Katherine loved her Irish roots, dancing the jitterbug, roller skating, and as a younger mom, loved to ice skate on Hockey Pond. Her love of family was immense as evident of Sunday’s spent at Polaski Park or Quaduck Pond.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
