Coventry, Golembeski, Joseph J., Jr., 64, of Myra Rd, died Tuesday at the V. A. Medical Center in Providence. He was the husband of Nanhee (Cho) Golembeski for 23 years.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Marion E. (Isaacson) Golembeski. Mr. Golembeski worked with the US Postal System for 16 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the DAV Chapter 17 and a lifetime member of AmVets.He also was a gun control instructor for the state and a member of the NRA.Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter Melissa, two sisters, Karen A. Golembeski and Mary E. Gamelin, both of Warwick and a niece, Christine Gamelin. He was the uncle of the late Richard Gamelin Jr.and had many nieces and nephews in So.Korea.His family and friends will remember his kindness and compassion coupled with his contagious laugh. Joe enjoyed every sport and was an avid sport fan.His funeral will be Saturday at 8am from the Russell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd. (Route 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd. Warwick. Burial with military honors, will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
