John J. Balses, age 53, of Cranston, passed away on December 18, 2023. Born in Providence he was the son of Anthony and Anne (Calicchia) Balses.
John worked as a chef for many years at the Twin River Casino.
He was known for his love of all sports. John collected many hats from various sports teams and was known to be an avid Miami Dolphins Fan.
John was the beloved father of Derek Balses. He was also the loving brother of Anthony J. Balses and his wife Stephanie and Elisa Costa and cherished uncle of Karas Ethier and Brittany Demeulenaere.
Services for John will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 am in the Romano Funeral Home 627 Union Ave. Providence RI, 02909. Burial will be at a later date.
