John P. Angelone (PFD Ret.) 81, of North Providence, passed away on September 6, 2022. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John and Lillian (Grossi) Angelone. He was the loving husband of Jean M. (Penta) Angelone for 63 years. He was the devoted father of Robin J. Johnson and her husband Brian, John M. Angelone and his wife Jacklyn, and Gina M. Famiglietti; cherished grandfather of Joseph and Alexandria LoBello, Maria Angelone and Santino, Milanna and Marco Famiglietti; great-grandfather of Giavanna LoBello; and brother of Pauline Izzo, Marie Medeiros and the late Annette McDonough.
He was a Providence firefighter for 15 years.
John was an avid Red Sox fan and loved reading books especially the Tom Clancy series.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. after which inurnment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
