Joann Sanzi, 53, passed away May 3, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Josephine (DiSarro) Sanzi and the late Walter L. Sanzi. Mother of Mark C. Sanzi; grandmother of Giavanna and Marco; sister of Marjorie Sanzi, Susan Vincent, Lori Sanzi, Helen Verardo, Edward and Walter Sanzi.
Joann had been a medical secretary for Dr. Anthony Testa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
