Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah (Pellegrino) Silvestri.
She was the mother of Sharon Tetrault, Shannon Lawson, Kerri Stetson, Coleen O’Brien and the late Colin S. Hayes and Stepmother to Diane Archer. Joann leaves behind 13 beloved Grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren.
Sister of Theresa Crugnale, Raymond Silvestri, Jr., Susan DiFolco and Domenic Silvestri. She was the beloved life partner of Richard Bower and former wife of the late Colin Hayes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Social distancing, masks and occupancy restrictions will be observed.
A family burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
