ProvidenceJames Leo Finn, 79, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017. Born in Providence, James was the beloved son of the late John J. and Rose M. (Monagan) Finn.James was a graduate of La Salle Academy, He served his country proudly as a member of the United State Air Force. James also worked as a Postal Clerk in Providence for 43 years before his retirement. He is survived by his brothers, Robert F. Finn and his wife Mildred, Michael D. Finn and his wife Maryann, his sister, Doris Check, several nieces and nephews, one great niece and two great nephews. James was the brother of the late Rose Boudreau and John J. Finn, Jr. A visitation will be held on Friday morning from 8 am - 9:15 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St., Providence. Burial will follow St. Ann Cemetery.
